The two managers shared their thoughts on Friday's friendly game in Spain.
Marko Nikolic:
„There were no problems with the attitude. We had chances in the second half after making changes and those 45 minutes were better than the first. We lost at least 20 balls during the game around the box and within in. We gave many balls away to the opposition. We have played strong teams at this training camp. They are not top European sides but we are talking about good teams. These teams are better than us at this moment. I can only repeat myself when I say that we have only been able to score from a penalty in the three games here. We do need to strengthen and especially up front. Unfortunately we were unable to play our best side with Vinicius, Geresi, Fiola and naturally Huszti all out. Today we had Scepovic back for the first time following his injury. Boban Nikolov has only been with us for a week. This all makes it hard to play at this level the way we wish to play. However, we still have a month until the spring season and I hope that everything will fall into place by then the way I would like it to."
Dan Petrescu:
„I felt that we played really well in the first half. We could have scored more than the two goals we did. Vidi were better in the second half and they had chances. We scored the third goal, which sealed the game. I managed to rest several players today, which is important as we have two games on Sunday. This means that each player will get 90 minutes match time. I am satisfied overall and the way we performed. With regards to the league: we have a very hard spring ahead of us with both Steaua and Craoiva good team. There is still a long way to go until the end of the season. I would like to wish Videoton the best."
