PRESS CONFERENCE

"We’re delighted with the three points.”

Balázs Bekő and Csaba Pintér gave their thoughts on the match, which ended in a 1–0 victory for Videoton.

Balázs Bekő:

“We knew that Tiszakécske are a team made up of excellent players who play football very bravely and freely, without any pressure, and they proved that again today. There weren’t any really big chances in today’s match, which means we largely got our defence right. The start of the second half was exactly what I want to see from my team. We needed a good goalkeeping performance and a number of other factors to secure the win, but that’s football – we’re delighted with the three points.”

Csaba Pintér:

"I can’t really criticise my players. The moment has finally come when, after 11 unbeaten matches, we’ve lost – and what makes it all the more painful is that it happened at home. We didn’t play badly; the only thing missing from our performance was a goal. We had our chances, we started the first half well, then we dropped off a bit, but we played better after the break too, and we even had a chance to equalise right at the last moment. We suffered defeat due to an avoidable goal. Football is an unfair sport, but life is fair, so we hope that this will come back to us in the long run."
