The first shot of the match came in the 4th minute, when we blocked Pataki’s attempt for a corner. In the 18th minute, Bódi shot wide at the end of a counter-attack, then in the 25th minute we launched a dangerous counter-attack, but Derekas’s shot was deflected by a defender and went just wide of the bottom-right corner.

In the 27th minute, Derekas headed the ball from the right into the centre, where Zoárd Nagy met it with a header of his own, but his header went over the bar. In the 30th minute, following a cross from the left, Ramos headed over; in the 36th, Vidi's young keeper Bálint Vas pulled off a superb save from a home header. In the 37th minute, Pataki broke into the box for the home side, but his shot was parried for a corner; then, in the 39th minute, Vas tipped Sós’s shot over for a corner. The first half ended in a goalless draw.

At half-time, we made one substitution: Dominik Kovács came on for Kojnok, and then, in the 62nd minute, Erik Kovács replaced Zoárd Nagy upfront. In the 63rd minute, we took the lead! Dániel Németh timed his run perfectly to meet Krisztián Kovács’s cross from the right and slotted the ball into the net (0–1).

Three minutes later, we could have doubled our lead: Derekas got on the end of Dominik Nagy’s corner from the right, but his header went over the bar. In the 77th minute, Dominik Nagy was replaced by Zsótér, who was making his return from injury; in the 82nd minute, Zsótér took an excellent free-kick, but the goalkeeper made a very good save to tip the ball away from the left-hand side of the goal.

In the closing stages, Tiszakécske tried to equalise, but were unable to create any clear-cut chances. In the 85th minute, Lucas’s shot was deflected for a corner, while Bartusz Németh came on as our final substitute. At the end of the three minutes’ added time, the home side missed their best chance, with Baranyai shooting over the bar from a cross coming in from the right.

Vidi won the match 1–0, becoming the first side this season to beat Tiszakécske. Our next match is at home against BVSC-Zugló next Saturday.
