An Oliveira goal means that Vidi now have a 10 points lead over MTK and 11 over FTC.
The closing match of week 22 in the OTP league saw Vidi travel to Budapest to play Ujpest. It was also Istvan Kovacs' 100th first division appearance. The first action arrived after 5 minutes when a Gyurcso corner found Oliveira, who fed Nikolics from 6 meters, which produced a good save from keeper Balajcza. Calatayud in the opposite goal also had to work when he tip over a deep cross from Nagy after 8 minutes. Both chances were well saved by Calatayud in the Videoton goal.
Perovic then headed wide of the goal on 26 minutes, and then found the back of the net 2 minutes later, but it was flagged offside. Calatayud then held on to a low shot from Nagy as the chances continued to come. Suljic shot powerfully at goal from 17 meters, which again produced a good save. Calatayud was again well placed to keep out Nagy after a cross from Andric. Vidi got the breakthrough after 37 minutes, after Oliveira went down the left following a ball from Stopira, beating two men and finding the net from 15 meters! (0-1).

Perovic then had a second goal ruled offside a minute later. Kovacs challenged for a ball on 42 minutes, but he turned his ankle following an unfortunate move. That forced the midfielder off to be replaced by Simon, while Kovacs was taken to hospital. The latest news is that Kovacs has not broken his leg, but he is in pain and his leg will be in a cast for 2 days. There was still time for one last chance of the first half when Trebotic went down the wing before crossing in to the middle. Nikolics was waiting but his chance from 15 meters went wide. Vidi went in at the break a goal up.
The first action of the second half saw Nikolics get hold of the ball on the left, before turning for goal and rolling his shot wide from a tight angle. Nego passed to Suljic, but his shot went wide of the target from 11 meters. Andric then tried twice on 58 minutes. His first was saved by Calatayud, while the second flew over the bar. The hour mark resulted in Oliveira getting hold of the ball in the opponents half, playing a one-two with Ivanovski, who squared the ball across goal but it did not connect with a man in a red top. Gyurcso saw his 25 meters shot go wide of the left post as the action continued. 75 minutes was on the clock when Bardhi hit his free kick from 17 meters, which produced a good save from the Spanish keeper. With 10 minutes of normal time remaining, Heffler's corner ended at the feet of Sandor, who hit his low shot wide of the post.
