Vidi travel to Ferencvaros on Sunday evening

It is back to OTP league action for Marko Nikolic and his side on Sunday.

It is back to OTP League action on Sunday with a visit to the Groupama Arena and FTC. Match 7 of the new season sees a big game against the green and whites in Budapest.

Ferencvaros were knocked out at the Q1 stage of the Europa League against Maccabi Tel Aviv. However, they have made a near perfect start to the league season with only Paks managing to steal points from them in the 6 games to date. That was a 1-1 draw at the Groupama Arena, which saw manager Thomas Doll lose his job after the game. Sergei Rebrov has replaced him and he made his debut in the dugout in the 1-0 away win at Mezokovesd. Daniel Bode scored the winning goal in the 91st minute.

Two big players left FTC during the summer with left back Pedroso and forward Joseph Paintsil joining new clubs. Dominik Nagy returned to Poland following his loan period last season. Their two former international players Zoltan Gera and Tamas Hajnal retired from senior football over the summer months. Other players heading out were Batik to Honved, Kundrak to Soroksar, Priskin to Haladas, Sternberg to Kaiserslautern and most recently Thomas Doll.

Website transfermarkt.de values their squad at 16,25 million euro, which is only slightly ahead of Vidi, who are valued at 15,9 million. Most valuable player is Ivan Petryak on 2 million euros. Lanzafame has a figure of around 1,5 million, with Blazic and Gorriaran on 1,2 each. Roland Varga also reaches the 1 million euro mark.

Current top goalscorer is Varga, who has scored 4 times in the first 3 games, but has not scored in games since. Honved's Danilo has taken over as top goalscorer. The winger scored 17 goals from 27 matches last season, but he was eventually overtaken by Italian Lanzafame, who would go on to join FTC in the summer.

They have 8 players who have been ever present so far this season, including Europa League games: Lanzafame, Spirovski, Lovrencsics G., Varga R., Dibusz, Blazic, Petryak, Leandro.
