Videoton FC will shortly head off to Marbella for their three week training camp
Things have been moving along at a quick pace regarding the tournament in Marbella. Vidi will shortly be travelling out to Spain, where they will spend three weeks training as part of the build up to the spring season. The organizers of the tournament have decided on four groups, with two clubs in each. Videoton FC will now kick off the event on the 22nd January against Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

1st round of matches, Location: Municipal Stadium Marbella
Jan 22: Videoton FC - Lokomotiv Plovdiv - 11:00 am
Jan 22: Dynamo Kiev - Young Boys Bern - 13:30 pm
Jan 22: FC Ekranas - IF Stromsgodset - 16:00 pm
Jan 22: Crakovia Krakow - Dinamo Tblisi - 16:00 pm
These games will take place on the 25th January at the Marbella Football Center
Group A Losers - Group B losers, 11.00 am
Group A Winners - Group B Winners, 13.30 pm
Group C Losers - Group D Losers, 16.00 pm
Group C Winners - Group D Winners, 18.30 pm
Points of note:
- If scores are level at the end of matches, then there will be no extra time, and the result will be decided by a penalty shootout.
- All teams can make upto 11 substitutions in each match (including goalkeepers)
- Prize: Tournament winners 6000€, RUnners-Up 3500€, Third place 2500 €
All Videoton matches will be covered online, with photo galleries and videos appearing online shortly after the match itself.
