MTK visit the Sostoi stadium on Sunday evening in the OTP League.
MTK kicked off the new season with a comfortable 3-0 home win over league one new boys Mezokovesd. Manager Jozsef Garami lost several key players during the summer transfer window, with the likes of Patrik Tischler leaving. Rafe Wolfe, Sandor Hidvegi and the talented youngsters such as Vadnai and Zsidai all departed. In their place arrived several youngsters from the Sandor Karoly academy. MTK also borrowed Vidi defender Andras Fejes on a loan deal.
The Budapest side then drew their next league match 2-2 at the home of DVTK. They have since lost three matches in a row, and have failed to score in those games. They lost to both Haladas and Pecs by a single goal, while they went down 2-0 at the Puskas stadium against Ferencvaros. MTK will be looking to break this bad run of results when they arrive on Sunday at the Sostoi stadium.
