The two sides shared four goals in a friendly match at the Sostoi stadium.
Videoton were in friendly action on Friday morning against FC DAC 1904. The game was played on one of the training pitches situated behind the main stadium and in good autumn weather.
It was the home side that started the more active with Feczesin being brought down inside the box in the first minute. Referee Zsolt Szabo did not see any foul and waved play on. It was Feczesin who was again in the thick of the action a few minutes later. He laid the ball into the path of Suljic, with the Bosnian winger blasting over from 15 meters. Nego found himself with a chance on goal on 12 minutes. Visiting keeper Tujvel was equal to it and saved his effort. The 18th minute saw Feczesin release Gyurcso, who crossed from the left, but the ball deflected off a defender and into the hands of Tujvel. The first chance for the visiting side came on 20 minutes. Horvath took a free kick, which went just wide of the target.
Gyurcso was just short in connecting with Stopira's cross in the middle of the first period. Suljic also headed wide from a Nego ball in. DAC then took the lead against the run of play. A 31st minute free kick by Jurco, from 18 meters out, found its way in to the top right hand corner (0-1). Suljic showed good skill on 34 minutes before shooting at goal and finding Tujvel again well placed. The final 10 minutes of the first half saw Gyurcso involved several times. However, there was no way through a well marshalled DAC defence.
Oliveira, Gabor and Szekeres were the only players to remain on the pitch for the start of the second half. A good cross from a tight angle by Oliveira after 56 minutes saw Heffler just fail to score from 6 meters out. Brasen then shot at goal a couple of minutes later, which went just over the bar. The game stepped up in pace as the half progressed. Heffler went close again following a 64th minute free kick, while Sejben had a shot from close range saved well by Tujvel. Vidi levelled after 74 minutes when a high ball in was headed by Sejben in to the path of Soumah, who made no mistake from 5 meters to roll the ball in to the back of the net. (1-1).
There was not too long to be happy as Jurco found Szarka, and the tall forward shot just under the bar to make it 1-2. The reply from the Fehervar side came fairly quickly. Kovacs found Poloskei, who sent in a low cross for Heffler to connect with and make the final score 2-2.
There was still time for a Soumah shot and an effort from Fejes. The final score saw four goals shared in what was a good match for both sides during the international break. Vidi are next in Hungarian cup action on the 14th October, when they make the visit to Andrashida in the 3rd round.
