The new head coach of Videoton shared his thoughts on Friday's friendly match.
Ferenc Horváth: "I was hoping to see in my first game some of the things we had done during our first three training sessions, and while I saw many things, there were also a few things that did not yet work. I am completely satisfied with the attitude shown by the players. We had four or five serious chances, which we did not manage to convert. Perhaps the fact that we had two training sessions yesterday played a part and the players were not at their freshest. These chances will go in later. I was also pleased to see two young players play in a friendly match against international opponents. They did not look out of place."
Tomislav Maric: "It was a useful match and our opponents current position in the league table does not paint a realistic picture. We played against a strong side. It was important for as many of my players to get match time over the international break against a good side. We managed this and so the game achieved its targets. It was also important that we did not pick up any injuries and we can plan for the next game with a full squad."
