First league match:
That came in the 1968 season after 11 league matches. The match was played on the 26th May in Szekesfehervar, with Honved winning that game 2-1. Vidi's goal that day came from Laszlo Kovacs. The first ever game in Kispest was also played in the same season. However, that resulted in a 2-1 win to Vidi, with the goals scored by Kovacs and Balogh. Bertalan Bicskei was in goal for Honved in both those matches, eventually becoming international manager of the Hungarian side in the 90's, and the manager of Vidi in 2003.
Biggest win:
Incredibly, the highest win over Honved was not at the Sostoi, but at the Bozsik stadium in Budapest. That came in season 2012-13 and a 4-0 win. A mitrovics double and further goals from Kovacs and Oliveira did the damage that day. There have been a further four matches when Vidi have won by a three goal margin. Three of those have been by a 4-1 scoreline and the other 3-0. The first of those 4-1 wins came on the 29th April 1995, with two goals each from Kuntic and Horvath. The second was on the 23rd June with the goals that day coming from Brazilian Leo (2), Julinho and Daniel Usvat. The third 4-1 win was on the 25th September 2004 with the goals that day coming from Hercegfalvi, Szabo, Kriston and Toth.
The heaviest defeat:
Those were 5-0 defeats on the 6th June 1987 and the 28th October 1995.
Most goals in a league game:
There have been three games played that have produced six goals. The first was in season 1976/77 with a 3-3 draw in Szekesfehervar, with a double from Burcsa and further goals from Nagy and Janos. The second and third match brought less joy to the Fehervar club. The 16th April 1994 and the 5th August 2007 saw 5-1 wins for Honved.
Longest undefeated run:
That was a run of 4 matches from the 20th June 1973 until the 16th November 1974 with three wins and a further draw.
Run of games without a win:
8 matches running from the 16th November 1974 - 18th February 1978, which came to an end with a 1-0 home win for Videoton.
Best personal performance:
That clearly went to Zoltan Csucsanszky, who in season 1988/89 scored a hatrick. That match on the 25th March 1989 produced a 3-1 win for Vidi.
Player with the most goals:
Csucsánszky has scored three goals but Gyorgy Novath has managed 5 against the Kispest side over the years. The excellent striker scored those 5 between 1978 and 1986 against Sunday's opponents.
