A double strike from Gyorgy Sandor was enough to take all three points

Videoton returned to the scene of their earlier successes this season to make it three wins out of three. Kecskemet's Szektoi stadium is proving a happy hunting ground for the boys from Fehervar, as Paulo Sousa's side collected three points following an impressive 2-0 win. Vidi have already won the Super cup and the league cup on the Szektoi stadium pitch, and they added an away league win to that collection. Vidi had a fairly regular looking line up, with Bozovics retaining his place in the starting eleven. With Brachi still working on his fitness following his recent injury, it meant that young Roland Szolnoki continued at the right back spot. Hector, who went on to set up the first goal, played in the left back position, with Caneira and Vinicius operating at the heart of the defence. Gosztonyi was chosen on the right side of midfield, with Sandor, Toth and Mitrovic occupying the central midfield positions. Walter played out on the left with the hard working Torghelle left up front to battle against the home defenders.

Bertus had the first chance for Kecskemet after 6 minutes, with his shot going just over Bozovics' goal. The match then swang in favour of Vidi, when Hector went on a very good solo run inside the box, before he cleverly cut the ball back for the arriving Sandor to nicely hit the ball in to the top left hand corner of Antal's goal. It was just the start that everyone connected with Vidi had wanted after 10 minutes. Vidi continued to put their foot on the pedal as they enjoyed the majority of possession. Antal then did well to collect a cross from Gosztonyi after 20 minutes. Keeper Bozovics had to be at his best to keep Vidi in front, when he did very well to save from Bertus after 23 minutes. Balogh then had a long range effort go wide of the Vidi goal as the home side showed signs of coming back into the game. The half hour mark saw a wonderful Mitrovics curling free kick just fail to find the back of the net.

The final effort of the first half came from the feet of Sandor, who noticed that the home keeper was off his line. He sent a high ball just over the bar, with the midfielder showing just how alert he was. The referee then blew his whistle and the half came to an end with Vidi enjoying a single goal lead. The Videoton keeper then comfortably collected a Forro cross from the left early in the second half. Gyurcso came on to add some of his pace in place of Gosztonyi. Veteran striker Tokoli was being shut out of the game by the Vidi defence.

Nikolics replaced Torghelle towards the end and the sharp striker was soon involved in the action. It needed the boot of a home defender to block a Niko shot on goal after 77 minutes. Savic' long range powerful shot with a minute left on the clock proved the final chance of the game, with Bozovics confidently collecting the ball. So Vidi made it back to back 2-0 wins to move up to second in the table, overtaking Győr, who they face next week at the Sostoi stadium. Vidi are ending the season nicely and are putting a nice run of performances together at the same time.
