Videoton produced a very good performance, with three goals in the second half, as they comfortably beat an Ujpest side that has made a poor start to the season. The match was played in good conditions, taking into consideration that it is the first week of October.

Kleinheisler got hold of the ball in his own half, before embarking on a 70 meters run and hitting a powerful shot, which went just wide of the post. Sandor then hit a ball into the centre, which Zé Luis stepped over, as the ball fell to Kleinheisler, who volley at goal, only for Balajcza to pull off a smart save in the Ujpest goal. The experienced keeper saved with his legs, with the rebound being cleared off the line by a visiting defender. There were efforts from Ujpest player Anton, while Nildo also saw his shot well saved.

Ujpest made two changes at the break, but that did not have an effect on Vidi, who took the lead in the 48th minute. Ujpest lost possession inside the Videoton half, with Nildo showing great awareness to hit a long ball nicely into the path of Zé Luis, who shook off his marker to calmly place the ball beyond the visiting keeper. The visitors almost drew level a minute later, when Simon sent a good shot at goal, but the alert Calatayud palmed his shot away to safety. Nildo's skill proved too much for Ujpest defender Ngawa, who brought him down inside the box on 51 minutes. He was shown a straight red card and Vidi were also awarded a penalty. Zé Luis stepped up but his shot came back off the inside of the post.

That did not deflect Vidi off their path as they continued to go forward in search of more goals. Videoton's lead was doubled when Kleinheisler hit a great shot from 22 meters out, giving the keeper no chance. Balajcza pulled off a good save from Nildo on 55 minutes. The ball fell to the feet of Zé Luis, following a 66th minute cross from Nildo, and the powerful forward struck a sweet first time shot in to the back of the net. The 3-0 scoreline was no more than Vidi deserved as their superiority clearly showed. Substitute Gyurcso looked dangerous on a couple of occasions, as Ujpest were pushed back into their own half for large spells of the game.

Vidi will now go into the international break with a good 3-0 win under their belts. They also enjoy a four point lead over second placed DVTK.
