Videoton cruise to an easy pre-season victory The majority of the goals came in the first half, when manager Gyorgy Mezey sent the following team out: Sebők – Lázár, Milanovics, Horváth, Andics – Ponczók, Polonkai, Szolnoki, Szakály – Nikolics, Alves. Vidi were ahead after just 3 minutes, when Alves followed up to score after Nikolics shot at goal. The goals came at a fast rate following the opener, with a new goal coming every 7-8 minutes. Nikolics scored the second and Alves beside him went on the rampage scoring 4 times. A further goal from Pal Lazar made the half time score 7-0. Videoton keeper Sebok had virtually nothing to do as the team in front of him continued to look impressive. The second saw changes to the tactics, with the emphasis being placed on the defence. The following team took to the field for the second 45 minutes: Sebők – Margitics, Lipták, Lázár, Hidvégi – Sitku, Ponczók (Baracskai), Djordjic, Gosztonyi – Lencse, Mutumba. A further two goals came inside the first 10 minutes, with Gosztonyi being brought down and Sitku hitting home a confident penalty. Salzburg came back with a consolation goal five minutes later. However, it was young Baracskai who scored the games last goal to make the final score 9-1. There is one more friendly left to play of the ten-day training camp. That will take place on Saturday, in Grobming, with Kolosvar providing the opposition. Fehérvár FC I SV Austria Salzburg U23-Videoton FC Author: David Rechnitzer
