Vasziljevics is back and ready to fight

The midfielder moved to Videoton from Ujpest over the summer. He will soon be fully fit following a recent injury

Videoton signed midfielder Dusan Vasziljevics from Ujpest during the summer. The fans have had the chance to see him in action in a couple of the pre-season games. However, they have yet to see him at his best, after he had an operation on his nose recently. The player has now fully recovered and he is raring to make his debut in the red and blue shirt. He still feels that he is a little short of full match fitness, but a few games is all that is needed. Dusan also hopes to feature in Sunday's league game at home to Vasas.

"I am now fit and ready, touch wood, and the earlier problems are now behind me. I have no problems, apart from lack of matches. But I will get some under my belt and get back to full fitness. I really need games now. That is why I am hoping that I can play against Vasas, even if I do not start the game, but come on as a substitute. That is why I joined Videoton, to show the fans that I deserve to play for them. I am really looking forward to being part of a winning Vidi team, and I am convinced that we can beat Vasas. My team mates want nothing else but all three points. We will beat Vasas on Sunday for sure. It would be good to score a goal on my debut in front of the home crowd. However, I do not care if another player does this, as long as we win." - said Dusan Vasziljevics.
