The Spanish left back recently had an operation but is now well on the road to full recovery
Hector required an operation to his ankle back in December. As a result of that operation, the left back has undergone plenty of rehabilitation work, working on his own in order to make a full recovery. Club physio Judit Ruzsinszki believes that the most important factor is the six weeks following the operation, which is where Hector is right at the moment.
"At a time like this it is very important to win back the movement and strengthen the muscles around that area. Hector is doing well in this and we are practicing with such exercizes, that will help him even further. We will soon undergo a six week control test, and depending on the results, we will know when we can step things up. I am very optimistic at the moment" - said Judit Ruzsinszki.
The player himself feels that his injury is healing well. The Spanish defender has carefully gone through the full range of rehabilitation excerizes that have been given to him. "I have to travel to Valencia on Monday for a control. We will then be wiser following that visit. I am very optimistic, and I feel that my recovery is going very well, and that I am on the right road. I will do everything I can so that I can be back out on the pitch as soon as I can, and help my team" - explained Hector.
