The two head coaches assessed the MOL Fehérvár FC - Újpest FC match

Michael Boris and Milos Kruscic spoke to journalists after the match.

Michael Boris:

"Rúben Pinto's injury unfortunately looks very serious, so I would like to start by wishing him a speedy recovery! I'm sure his recovery won't be a short one, but let's wait and see. We were shocked not only by the result but also by the loss of him. We started the game well, we could have decided the fate of the three points in the first minutes, but the goalkeeper from Újpest made a great save. Our game worked for about 15-30 minutes, then Újpest came back into the game. After the 60th minute we stopped playing football, Újpest scored and won the game. I don't know yet the reasons why we conceded. Houri started after a long time, and his long injury, our forward play didn't work after his substitution. We need to do more dirty work on the pitch, the substitutions didn't have the effect we expected from them. I expect more effort from everyone, on the long balls we have to show more options to the players on the pitch with the movements. I fully understand the frustration of our fans. We are not happy with ourselves either."

Milos Kruscic:

"We were expecting a very difficult match, as we were facing a MOL Fehérvár team hungry for a win. The opponent has very good players, we could see that in the first 10 minutes on the pitch. We didn't make tactical mistakes, but we had individual problems, but we managed to eliminate them and after that we had the match under control. We had more chances in the second half, although Vidi were very attacking. Our aim then was to keep the lead and then we built up our own attacking play step by step as we opened up space. I said to the players at the break: this is a game that you have to work hard and you have to suffer to win! We learnt from the game against Kecskemét, where we didn't play badly either, but we scored almost out of nothing. This time we took the chance and won the match! We are very happy with the three points, tactically we have a good match behind us. What else can I say when we can take all three points from Fehérvár? And Goure's injury is hopefully not serious, the team doctor says we don't have much to worry about based on the initial tests."
