The match was postponed in August, but will be played on Monday at 19:00.
On Monday 10th October at 19:00 Újpest FC will visit the MOL Arena Sóstó. The match was originally scheduled to take place in the 4th round in mid-August, but it was postponed due to the international schedule of our team. Monday will be the 118th time we have faced the purple and whites in the top flight. Although Újpest were more successful in the beginning, the balance is now heavily in our favour, as we have won exactly 50 times against Újpest, while the team from the IV. district have won 42 times and we have drawn 25 games. The goal difference is 183-167 in our favour.
After the 10th round Újpest FC is in ninth place in the table with two wins (Újpest FC - Vasas FC 2-1 and Újpest FC - Kisvárda 4-0), three draws (Újpest FC - Mezőkövesd 1-1, Újpest FC - ZTE FC 1-1, Bp Honved 0-0. Thanks to the mysteries of the fixture draw, Újpest FC have played seven of their nine league matches at home, but in these matches the purple and white team have only collected eight points, while away from home they have one draw and one defeat. Újpest have conceded the third most goals in the league (16) and like us, they have also scored 11 times so far.
