The thoughts of the two managers following the final whistle

The journalists present asked several questions from both managers.

Michael Boris:

"We woke up after the second goal, then we went forward, maybe you could see that from the outside. In the first half the score was 0-0, the game was maybe 'ok' but we were not really dangerous. Before the second goal, we had a chance and then we conceded the second goal from a counter attack. All these substitutions had a positive effect on our game, they increased the running. Everyone fought and pushed to at least get the 2-2 result. I wanted to see everyone give their all and I got that back from a lot of players. We have to fight for every goal, for every point, we know that, because some teams are fighting for Europe and others are fighting to avoid relegation. Obviously, at the moment, the players don't have the confidence of a team that consistently wins games. We have a lot of hard work ahead of us, we have to keep moving forward and build on the positives."

Our head coach was also asked about his first days at Vidi at the press conference:

"If you play for Vidi or coach Vidi, the expectation is to win every game. It's a big challenge, but the last half an hour of the game gives us reason to be optimistic. We have to do what we saw there from the first minute. We've been talking to the players a lot this week, we've been here every day for a long time. We know that this is not an easy period. I saw things I wanted to see, I got back what I asked for at the end of the game. The message from the fans at the end of the match was understood by everyone, including me, even though I don't speak Hungarian well, but they helped me translate. It's understandable that they voiced their opinion after another defeat, this happens in Germany too, there's nothing unusual about it. We will work to correct the mistakes and do better."

Milos Kruscic:

"It's hard to start talking after a win like this. We deserved to win, we controlled the game, we could have scored more goals. Vidi's goal came out of nowhere, but it didn't change the overall picture of the game. We could have scored more goals, I think we played better, we deserved to win. I am completely satisfied with what I saw from my team. Defensively we were very organised, going forward the players executed well what we had in mind. I can't even blame anyone for the goal we conceded, we have to continue on this path in the future. I think we played better in the first half, I asked the team at the break to keep the intensity and the rhythm and the goals will come."
