Michael Boris and Joan Carrillo spoke to journalists after the match.
Michael Boris:
“In the first half we showed what happens when we play forward and defend forward, we have been preparing for this all week. A lot of people have mentioned that it takes time for the team to come together, but I feel we are proving ourselves as we have been unbeaten for weeks now. We played really well in the first half, maybe we didn't defend as aggressively in the second half, we gave Debrecen more space, but it's a testament to the strength of the team that we didn't concede. Our substitutes also came on well and thanks to a free kick that was quickly taken, we sealed the game with Loic's header. Our plan is set, we have to get fourth place and hope Ferencváros win the cup to qualify for the international stage. Congratulations to my players, the staff and our fans!"
Joan Carrillo:
“Congratulations to Vidi, they played better today and took advantage of our mistakes. We started badly and went into the break 2-0 down. We would have liked to change that at the beginning of the second half, but we couldn't make it better and the third goal decided the game. Unfortunately, we had a lot of problems before the game and we had to change the line-up from yesterday to today, but now we have to look forward and prepare for the continuation from tomorrow.”
