The Munich side wins the final friendly match of the first training camp

Vidi directed play for the first hour, which included chances at goal, but it was the German side that took advantage of the chances that came their way to win 2-0.

The second friendly match of the pre-season saw Vidi play German Bundesliga 2 side TSV 1860 Munich on Thursday afternoon. Just like on Sunday, the weather was once again nice and the game was played in sunny conditions. However, the wind did pick up after around 15 minutes, which did not help the players out on the pitch.

The first half was played at a good pace despite this. Oliveria had the first real chance on 7 minutes, shooting from a tight angle from 8 meters out, which produced a good save from keeper Ortega. The German reply came two minutes later: a cross from the wing found its way to Adlung, who shot at goal from 16 meters out. Calatayud kept the effort out with a good save. It was the Munich side who had perhaps more of the possession in the period that followed. They tried to hit balls forward, but that failed to create any clear cut chance.

The 27th minute saw Claasen get hold of the ball around the box, before powerfully shooting into the side netting. That was the last chance of the first half, but there could be no complaints with the energy and pace that the game was being played in.

Joan Carrillo made three changes at the break. Juhasz, Alvarez and Ivanovski came off to be replaced by Chakla, Gyurcso and Feczesin respectively. Gyurcso took a corner after 50 minutes, which was headed just over by Adam Simon. Kovacs found himself with a good chance on goal on 55 minutes, but the Munich keeper reacted well to come out of his goal and close the angle.

Kovacs and Gyurcso were involved in a move two minutes later in front of the German goal, but their defenders managed to clear the danger. TSV 1860 Munich took the lead on the hour mark. Angha Martin crossed from the right wing, with Claasen arriving at the far post to head from a tight angle to make it (0-1). Both teams then made plenty of substitutions following that goal. Vidi had the following side: Pajovics - Brachi, Chakla, Fejes, Heffler - Kocsis, Sándor - Pajac, Feczesin, Gyurcsó - Nikolics. The 73rd minute produced a chance with Feczesin feeding Gyurcso on the right, who played a ball in for Nikolics, who shot at goal, but it got blocked by a defender, and there were appeals for handball, but the referee waved play on. A German player then played the ball in from the left and Stephan Hain headed past Pajovics from around 9 meters to make it (0-2).

Vidi tried all they could to get a consolation goal in the period remaining. However, there was no further change to the scoreline and TSV 1860 Munich ran out 2-0 winners. This virtually brought an end to the first pre-season camp, which was mainly about improving fitness and stamina. The team will have a training session on Friday morning, before heading home after lunch. They are expected to arrive back in Szekesfehervar late evening.
