Joan Carrillo: The aim of the friendly was to try out the things we have been practicing in a game situation

The two managers shared their thoughts on the pre-season friendly.

Joan Carrillo: "We played in a good match, which served our preparations well. We must not forget that the Munich side will return to league action in a weeks’ time, which means that they are closer to peak condition, while we are in the middle of our pre-season. My players were tired, which is totally normal for this phase. They had two tough training sessions yesterday for example. The aim of today's friendly was to see the things we have been practicing in training being used in real match situations. I also wanted to give match time to all of my players. We had more of the ball over the 90 minutes and also had good goalscoring chances. I am thinking here of the shot from Oliveira, the header from Simon, or the chances that fell to both Kovacs and Gyurcso. We also had a penalty appeal, which did not go our way. The result was not the main importance today. The most important was to see the performance produced by the players in the game. I am satisfied with things overall from my team and their performance."

Markus von Ahlen: "Today's game was a good one, with Videoton FC impressing me. The game was balanced and I think we had slightly more luck than our opponents. I roughly got from my team what I was expecting, but we still have work to do. I would like to wish Videoton FC lots of luck in the Hungarian championship!"
