The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.
Tamas Peto: The key in today's match was that the players believed that they could win. We started the game well, but then conceded two goals following a couple of errors. We did not collapse and then turned the game around. Perhaps we managed to win back the supporters respect with this victory. We spent the whole week concentrating on the task in hand. It ended up bringing its reward. These players have not forgotten how to play football. The best players in the country are in the Videoton FC squad, and they are now back to where they should be mentally and physically. We won and fought together as a team. We need to continue working hard to take Vidi back to where they belong, but we are heading in the right direction.
Robert Jarni: I am sure that it was very exciting for the supporters. It was a very interesting game but not for me unfortunately. We led 2-0, which was a great score midway through the first half. We played well and we were determined until we conceded the first goal. That had an effect on us. We still had good counter attacks when the score was at 2-2. However, we could not convert them and we were not ourselves today. I need to look further in to what happened in the second half, which I will be doing. We have had many chances in our last few games, which we have not converted. We scored twice today but in the end it was not enough.
