Sousa: Nothing is impossible in football

There was a great amount of interest at Tuesday's press conference

Videoton's first team manager, Paulo Sousa addressed the media at the press conference, held at the Sostoi stadium on Tuesday.

He began by saying that he was very pleased with the performance of his side in last week's first leg match. The only aspect that did not satisfy him was the result. He continued by saying that he could see the determination in training, on the faces of the players, which would be needed in order to progress into the next round. Sousa went on to explain that his side are a very young team, and the players have to develop in many areas. He also talked about a match in the past, when he was with Juventus in 1996. The quarter final first leg match saw his team lose to Real Madrid 1-0. However, they won the return leg 2-0 in Torino, and they went on to win the European cup that year. So Paulo Sousa really knows how to fight through to the next round.

The supporters will have a massive role to play on Wednesday. Paulo and his players were delighted to hear that there will be a crowd of around 10,000 inside the Sostoi stadium. Sousa was pleased with the atmosphere provided by the 1000 travelling Videoton supporters in Klagenfurt last week. The crowd can be that important 12th man on Wednesday.
