The Vidi captain shared his thoughts after the final whistle.
"We lined up in a different formation than how we usually do. I felt that we managed to surprise Ferencvaros a little with this. We had chances in the first half and at the start of the second period as well. Unfortunately Ferencvaros scored from a counter attack. We then went on the all-out attack, which meant that we opened up more and were hit by further counter attacks and goals. We ended up chasing the match and suffered a bad defeat. I would like to congratulate Ferencvaros, but I feel that we did not have to leave the pitch with our heads bowed down. I would add that it is a terrible feeling to lose a cup final. We need to quickly sort ourselves up and we have a league game on Sunday" - commented Gyorgy Sandor.
