Midfielder Gyorgyi Sandor spoke about the away defeat at Paks on Tuesday
Midfielder Gyorgyi Sandor gave his thoughts, shortly after the single goal defeat at Paks to vidi.hu
"The last three away matches at Szolnok, Haladas and Paks have not been good for either myself or the other players at the club. We have spoken about the fact that we have to really battle in the matches over the spring season. Perhaps we will not be able to play good football, as we do in our home matches, if we are to get something from the matches away from the Sostoi stadium. We tend to pass a lot in our home matches, and we may have to change the way we play away. I would also include our recent Hungarian cup match at Kaposvar in this series. We should have battled in the match at Paks on Tuesday. However, I do not think that we did this in the game yesterday evening. We conceded an early goal and ended up chasing the rest of the match. The home teams defence were well organised, and they hit us on the break. We were unable to really create any real chances on the times when we went forward. We did not put the Paks goal under any serious pressure during the match. Perhaps for the person watching from the stand, it may have appeared that we were very tense, and several mistakes happened in our game. We tried to speed things up, to get back into the match, and even turn it around. We started the second half with three forwards, and there were also three midfielders playing behind them. The defenders also tried to join the attack when possible. We did everything to at least try and get the equalising goal, but we did not manage that, and it hurts a lot!"
