Hungarian international manager Sandor Egervari has called up Vidi duo Roland Szolnoki and Adam Gyurcso into his squad, for Wednesday's friendly international with Belarus.
"I can still not fully come to terms that I have been called up into the senior national squad, but I have been really looking forward to it. Each player dreams of representing his country, and I have gotten very close to doing just this. I will have the chance to prepare with players, who have been role models to me up until now. It is enough if I mention Balazs Dzsudzsak or Adam Szalai. The fact that Adam Gyurcso is also a squad member will make it even easier for me to adapt. I really hope I get the chance to play against Belarus on Wednesday evening. One thing for sure is that I will be ready if I am called upon. It was important to have a competitive game on Saturday, which saw us get a good result in the Hungarian cup against ZTE. We tried to keep our opponents under constant pressure, and scored four goals, and I also felt that I played well" - explained young defender Roland Szolnoki, who will fly out with the national team on Monday evening for the friendly match in Belek, Turkey.
