Roland Juhasz joins Videoton FC on a long term deal

The experienced central defender has represented his country in 77 interntional matches.

Videoton FC can confirm the transfer of defender Roland Juhasz. The defender played in 9 first division games for Vidi over the recent spring season. He also scored an impressive 3 goals in those games, which confirmed his threat in front of the opponents goal. Belgium club RSC Anderlecht gave the player to Videoton on a loan period, which expired on the 30th June 2013. He then returned back to Belgium where he trained with the youth side to keep his fitness up. He had another year left of his original contract, which has now been broken up allowing the player to join Vidi on a free transfer.

The international defender has signed a 2+1 year contract.

"I am very happy to have finally settled my own fate, which will see me continue my playing career with Vidi. I experienced over the last half year just how professional this club is, so I feel that I have made the best decision to sign for the Szekesfehervar club. With us having gone out of the Europa League so soon, that is a massive disappointment for everyone, and I experienced something similar to this with Anderlecht in the past. I am clear with the fact that the players will now be even more motivated for the battles ahead. We will all want to prove ourselves." - commented Roland Juhász to vidi.hu.
