Roland Juhasz: A big dream has come true that I can play at the European Championships

We spoke to the Videoton captain by phone after the Hungarian squad was announced on Tuesday.

"The official 23 man squad was named on Tuesday afternoon. We did not really know that much before who the players in the squad would be. We were not sure about which players the national team manager wished to take with him to France. I am naturally very pleased that I am a part of the Hungarian squad for the European Championship. Those who know me will tell you that the national team has always been the most important for me, but I believe the same applies to each footballer. A big dream has come true with me having the chance to play in France in the summer. This really will be the peak of my career. I can feel the goose pimples when I think about the Hungarian anthem playing before the match at the Championships. Events are speeding up as we travel to Germany in the second part of the week. We will play them in a friendly on Saturday. We will then get two days off to relax, before travelling to France on the 7th June. We are all looking forward to France" - commented Roland Juhasz.
