Roland Juhasz has a successful operation

The experienced central defender recently suffered an injury, which has meant him having to miss several matches.

Videoton's Dr. Tibor Kovács originally gave the club's website an update regarding the injury to defender Roland Juhasz. First tests carried out suggested that an operation would not be needed. However, the medical staff did a further test on the defender, which resulted in a decision being made to have the player operated on.

"The most important was that all of the tests dismissed the possibility of the player having suffered torn ligaments, which would have meant a far more serious injury. The MRI scan showed that the inner side ligament had suffered damage. In the interests of a speedy rehabilitation period, we decided on carrying out a routine operation, which we successfully undertook on Monday afternoon" - commented Dr Geza Abrkarovits, who performed the operation.

"I feel good now and the doctors have told me that the operation went well. I spent the night in the hospital, but I can go back home in the afternoon. I am pleased that I am now over the operation. The following few days will be about resting, and then we can concentrate on the rehabilitation process following that" - said defender Roland Juhasz.
