Roland Juhasz: "Friday's game will be special for me"

Videoton entertain MTK in the OTP league division one on Friday afternoon at the Sostoi

- You might get the chance to play against MTK in a league match for the first time, what feelings do you have inside you with just a few days to go before the game?

It is sure to be a special game for me, as I came through the youth ranks at MTK, spending 8 years developing at the Budapest club, right up until the first team. I have plenty of lovely memories from my time there, but I will put those all to one side, and concentrate on bringing success to Vidi.

- It is almost eight years since you last played in the colours of MTK. Are you familiar with any of their players, or has the entire squad been changed over that time?

There are fewer and fewer now. I only know Jozsef Kanta and Andras Pal out of the old players. MTK have always been known for having young squads, so there is no surprise that the majority of the team is not from that era when I was there. Manager Jozsef Garami is there from the coaching staff, and he was manager when I moved to Anderlecht. I could also point out Gabor Poloskey, who discovered me back then.

- Both the supporters and journalists felt that you played your best match for Vidi, in Sunday's game against Ferencvaros, since your arrival, Do you feel the same?

I feel that I am continuously getting back into form, and am moving forward all the time. Naturally I have had plenty of training sessions, as is the case now, but a player needs this if he is to perform well in a match. I am pleased if many people feel this way that I played my best game so far, but the aim is that if I can play against MTK, then they will say the same after the match that I played the best.
