Vidi played the first of their two friendly games against Russian opponents on Friday.
Videoton played their third friendly game of their Spanish training camp on Friday afternoon. They were up against Russian first division side Lokomotiv Moscow, who are currently in 10th place in their domestic league. The Moscow side included Croatian international defender Vedran Corluka in their starting line up. Also present was Russian star Igor Denisov. Henning Berg went with the following eleven for the first of the two practise games on Friday: Zöldesi - Sejben, Pölöskei, Fejes, Varga Bence - Kovács, Simon, Lénárt, Géresi - Barczi, Bévárdi.
The first chance fell to the Russians when Miranchuk tried with a low shot, which zipped past the left post. A Lokomotiv corner on 12 minutes was followed by a quick counter attack from Vidi. Bevardi found Barczi with a pass, and he played the ball on for Geresi, who was returning from injury, but his effort went into the hands of keeper Guilherme. A quickly taken throw on the right a minute later saw the Russian side go ahead. Maicon ran behind the defender and into open space, before calmly finding the back of the net (0-1).
There were 17 minutes played as the action continued. Once again Maicon proved dangerous after another throw in on the right. The Brazilian forward sent a header against the bar. Moscow had another header from Corluka go just over when well placed as Vidi again survived pressure. The 22nd minute saw Kasaev lay the ball on for Miranchuk, who arrived well, but his shot did not hit the target. Vitaliy Deniov shot at goal after 24 minutes, but it took a deflection off Poloskei and again clipped the bar. Lokomotiv were directing things in the second part of the first half. However, they could not create any serious chances to increase their lead as the first period came to an end.
The first chance of the second half arrived after 58 minutes. A counter attack ended with Bevardi sending in a ball that was collected by the Moscow keeper. The resulting move resulted in Fejes fouling a player inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot. Miranchuk kept his composure to extend the lead for the Russian team. Henning Berg made a couple of changes after that goal. Adam Simon and Krisztian were replaced by Ante Solomun and IIlja Vukotic, with the latter arriving on a trial. N'Dinga sent his 67th minute free kick wide of Zoldesi's goal. There was enough time before the end for a long range effort from Portnyagin. That proved the final chance of the game and Lokomotiv Moscow secured a 2-0 friendly win.
