Videoton played out a 1-1 draw with Ujpest on Sunday evening
Paulo Sousa: The match began very evenly, but once Ujpest took the lead, we had no doubts, and carried on playing as we went forward. We created enough chances, and could have easily won the match. We managed to rearrange the team after Mitrovics went off with an injury, and also played well. This is why I am not satisfied with the point we got today. I would also like to congratulate the Red Blue Devils supporters group, who celebrated their 20th birthday today. I would like to thank them all for remaining behind the team during the long autumn period.
Jos Daerden: We had the game in our hands during the first half. We also had chances just as the home team did. Videoton then put us under big pressure in the second half, but this is what we prepared for, and we knew that they would try to get the three points. We expected them to put lots of strength in their attacks. I also know that the home side could have taken the lead towards the end, but we also hit them on the counter attack as well. I did not make any changes as the players did everything on the pitch, and I did not want to break up the team. I am satisfied with the performance, and we will go into the winter break in good mood following the point gained.
