Our 2024/2025 autumn season in numbers

With the help of Opta's statistics, we have summarised the performance of our players in the first half of this season.

Our team finished the 2024/2025 autumn season in the OTP Bank Liga NB I in 7th place. Top goalscorer was Nejc Gradisar (7 goals from 17 matches), Bálint Szabó (3 goals, 10 matches) finished second, while Nicolas Stefanelli (2 goals in 15 matches), Mátyás Katona (2 goals, 16 matches) and Patrik Kovács (2 goals, 7 matches) finished in a three-way tie for third place.

Also in terms of expected goals, our Slovenian U21 striker came top with 4.34 xG (in 17 matches), followed by Mátyás Katona with 2.96 xG (in 16 matches) and Nicolas Stefanelli with 2.58 xG (in 15 matches).

Áron Csongvai had the most assists in the first part of the season with 3, followed by Filip Holender and Nejc Gradisar with 2-2 assists.

Csongvai was on the pitch for all 17 matches in the autumn, so he played the most minutes in the team (1530 minutes). Apart from the captain, Csaba Spandler (1528 minutes), Nikola Serafimov (1502 minutes) and Nejc Gradisar (1447 minutes) also played in all 17 matches.

Gradisar had the most shots on goal with 17 of his 30 attempts on target. He was followed by Nicolas Stefanelli, who hit the target 8 times from 26 shots, and third was Mátyás Katona, who was on target 8 times from 24 shots.

Nikola Serafimov was the best in passing accuracy with 90.3% (in 17 games), Csaba Spandler was second with 84.8% (also in 17 games), while Zsolt Kalmár, back from a serious injury, was third with 82.2% (in 10 games).

Csongvai was also the leader in terms of recovered balls (79), followed by Csaba Spandler (70) and Nikola Serafimov (65).

In the successful tackles, Spandler was the best of the 10 or more players with 57.8%, Simut Mario was second with 57.2%, while Ivan Milicevic came third with 56.9%.

Kasper Larsen was the oldest player to play this season at 31, while the youngest was 17-year-old Patrik Kovács.
