The league XI beat the Hungarian U21 side with a last minute goal
Nemanja Nikolics made his first appearance in a Hungarian shirt after he represented Sandor Egervari's league XI side. His side was up against Antal Roth's U21 side at Telki on Tuesday. The U21 side will shortly be playing their qualification match against Turkey, so this game was designed to help them practice. The league XI found it hard to break through the solid looking U21 defence, which was well organized. Egervari chose a strikeforce of Nikolics and Lencse, with the latter currently out on loan with Kecskemet. They had one or two chances in the first half, but did not manage to get on the scoresheet. The game was played in very windy conditions, which did not help the quality of the match.
Antal Roth completely replaced his young side at half time, while Egervari made six changes. The game did not really change that much in the second half, with the league XI perhaps enjoying more of the possession. The deadlock was broken in the 91st minute when Adam Dudas scored from the penalty spot for Egervari's side.
