Nemanja Nikolics has been looking sharp infront of goal this season
Nemanja Nikolics has been in top form over the current season. He scored 8 league goals during 2011, making a total of 17 first division appearances for Vidi. Niko has carried on where he left off since the start of the spring season. He found the back of the net in the first game of the second half of the season against Kapsovar. He then followed that up a week later by hitting a goal in the win away at Diosgyőr. That goal meant that he equalled the record set by Andre Alves, by scoring in six consecutive league games. Nemanja was also on target in the most recent win away at ZTE on Saturday. That goal saw him go equal at the top of the goalscorers table, with Debrecen's Coulibaly. It is also interesting to note that Niko last won the top goalscorers record during the 2009-10 season, when he found the back of the opponents net 18 times. He looks like beating that record if he carries on with this red hot form. It would also mean that a Videoton player has won this award for the third year running. Good luck Niko and carry on doing what you do best!!
