Mutumba and Vujovics were both on target in the B team victory
Vidi's B side came up against a Szigetszentmiklos side at Fecsut on Saturday. Peter Varhidi's side incuded several players with first division experience. The contrast between the two sides was clear to see, as the visitors built their play around the experienced players. Vidi's second team were always dangerous and quick when they attacked. The first goal cam following some excellent build up play, which ended with a powerful shot from Mutumba into the far corner of the net. The assistant referee flagged for offside, but that was overuled by the referee, who gave the goal.
The crowd did not have to wait too long for the second, with Mutumba playing a major part in it. He went on a good run on the left, before his cross was converted into his own net by Redei. The defender was trying to stop the ball coming over for the waiting Gyurcso and Vujovics. The visitors manager complained so much to the referee that the official sent him from the bench. The visitors most dangerous player was Tibor Pomper, who used to play for Vidi earlier in his career. Vujovics then scored a cheeky goal to make it 3-0 to Vidi, and complete a good days work for the young second team. They have now won 3-0 in their last two games and they fully deserved the win today.
