Videoton are champions for the third time in the clubs history

Videoton won the league title for the third time in the history of the club on Sunday evening. A goal from Stefan Scepovic gave Vidi a 1-0 half time lead. That lead was doubled in the second half with a goal from Nikolov to secure the 3 points and the third title win.

Top goalscorer this season is Danko Lazovic with 16 goals to his name. He is followed by Marko Scepovic on 10 and Loic Nego with 10 goals. Mate Patkai, Anel Hadzic and Ezekiel Henty all contributed with 5 goals after 32 games. Marko Scepovic has scored 10 goals and also supplied 10 assists with Lazovic on 7 assists.

With Videoton beating Budapest Honved, and going 3 points clear at the top means that Ferencvaros cannot catch them next week in the final round of matches. Videoton are league champions for the third time.
