The two managers gave their thoughts on the game shortly after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
I would like to congratulate my players for this latest win. It was our 27th competitive game this season, which is a compliment for the squad. They have all gone to the limit so that we can be successful. We must not forget that the other sides have played fewer games. We have been playing well in recent weeks and we need to keep this going in the final two league games. The same applies to the Hungarian cup game against Vac. Paks are a good side, which is why I am pleased that we scored twice, which is a positive. We also kept a clean sheet in the game. Perhaps apart from a header, our opponents did not have a chance. Our defenders all did well individually in the match. Roland Juhasz dealt with everything that came his way. It was not only the defence that did well to achieve a clean sheet. The whole team played a part in this. We have now picked up 4 more points than the team managed to get in the last autumn season. There are two important league games and a Hungarian cup match to come. I would like us to do well in them before the winter pre-season. There is still lots of work ahead of us if we are to achieve our targets. The next game is the big match away at Ferencvaros. I know that there is plenty of interest and I also like the big matches. Let us not forget that we still have an important cup game on Wednesday. I have watched Vac in person and they are a strong side. They have several experienced former NBI players. We respect them but naturally want to make it through to the next round.
Aurél Csertői:
Sadly we could not pull off a good result, which I would also include a draw. That did not happen in the game today. Vidi are a very good side and it is hard to play against them. They scored a goal and then sat on that result. They allowed us to play before scoring another goal. We did not have too much chance in the match. Our opponents took advantage of almost chance. We also had efforts but could not score. Converting chances is the key, while we need to make sure we do not let goals in at the back. We could not manage that today.
