The two managers gave their reaction shortly after Thursday's final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"I congratulate the lads on the win! It is a pity that we did not score a second goal as we had three or four big chances. Another positive is that our opponents had one chance on the right side. It is very important in European games that we do not give away cheap goals to the other team in the home leg. We knew it would be a tough game and this is how it turned out. Vaduz have their own playing style that we spoke about before the game. Our chances of going through have improved but I can say now that it has changed 51-49 in our favour. We have to score a goal or two in Vaduz without doubt and our aim is to make it through to the next round."
Mario Frick:
"I am satisfied with the performance but not with the result. We rose above Fehervar especially in the first half. We feel that we could have done more as we did not score, but we played well. We need to be patient as we have another game next Thursday. We will need to battle throughout that 90 minutes and give all we have. I consider my team to be strong on our home pitch and we will try to go through. I gave our team 30% before the game and now I have increased that to 40%."
