The two managers shared their thoughts on Sunday's OTP league game at Felcsut.
Marko Nikolic:
It was strange to play at the Pancho Arena as the visiting side. We would like to thank Puskas Academy for being good hosts. The game started with an unfortunate goal that we conceded. However, the players heads were clear and we quickly got back into the game and then scored the second goal. We did well again from a set piece, which we have practised a lot, but there is still lots of room to develop and improve. I am pleased that we can score goals from these situations. I feel that we directed things throughout the game and we had big chances, which Danilovics saved well. I would like to congratulate my players for the three points. The home side also deserve recognition as they did everything on the pitch. I would also like to thank the supporters who were behind the team throughout the game and created a good atmosphere.
Attila Pintér:
I would like to congratulate Vidi, not only for their win today, but also for being the only remaining Hungarian side left in Europe. I would like to wish them the best against Bordeaux. We started the game well and things worked as we had planned. However, we made childish mistakes. We spoke about what we have to do at set pieces and who had to mark who at a throw on, but we made mistakes. I did not think at 2-1 that the visitors would score a third goal as we had chances. However, football can be an interesting game and everyone will decide how the third goal was scored. We carried on going forward and battled. Kovacsik made a very good stop from a Diallo header.
