Champions League draw on Monday

Videoton will enter the champions league at the 2nd round qualifying stage with the draw set to take place in Nyon, Switzerland.

Hungarian league champions Videoton FC, will enter the Champions league at the 2nd round qualifying stage. The draw will take place on Monday 20th June 2011, in Nyon, at midday. Vidi have not been seeded as one of the teams, so all that is certain is that one of our opponents will come from the list below! The draw will take place in Nyon on the 20th June, with the first leg due to be played on wither the 12th or 13th July. The second leg will take place a week later, on either the 19th or 20th July.

In the event that Paulo Sousa's side progress into the next round, Vidi will already know who their opponents will be, as the 3rd round qualifying draw will take place in Nyon on the 15th July. That is in between the two legs of the 2nd round! Possible famous teams awaiting Videoton should they progress into the third round qualifier are Portuguese giants, Benfica, Glasgow Rangers, Rubin Kazan, Dinamo Kiev, Panathinaikosz and Poli Timisoara.
