Videoton kick off the second half of the Monicomp league season on Sunday

Sunday's league match away at Vasas, will be the 83rd game between the two sides. Videoton have only played more games against MTK, Ujpest and Győr in the top division. Vasas have been regular opponents for Vidi over the years. The first match between the two was back on the 3rd March 1968, when Vidi made their bow in the top division. However, it was Vasas who emerged easy winners, by a 6-1 margin. Laszlo Csukovics scored Videoton's only goal that day. The overall record since then over 82 matches, has seen 29 wins for Vidi, 28 drawn matches and 25 wins for the Budapest side. Vidi also enjoy the better goal count with a 119-110 margin. Sunday's match at Fay street will be the 41st there between the two. Vasas enjoy a better record on their home pitch, with 21 wins, 12 draws and 7 defeats. Videoton last won away in Budapest on the 1st November 2009, by a 4-2 scoreline. Alves hit three that day, with Balazs Farkas hitting the other.
