The whole team is very disappointed at the outcome of the final
Zoltan Liptak: "I am very sad that we could not make it a league and cup double, as we really prepared for it. We really wanted to win the cup. We cannot be proud of our first half performance. We did have chances throughout the half, but failed to take them. We could have gone in at the break 2-1 down if just one of those chances had gone in. The outcome of the game could have been much different then. We went out on to the pitch with the plan to not concede a goal in the opening twenty minutes. We then found ourselves a goal down inside two minutes. The way we played was scandalous..... We tried to do whatever it took in the second half, but we were unable to make a real difference. I think that we would have gone on to win in extra time, if we could have levelled the scores at 3-3. They began to get tired towards the end, which could be seen. They say that words like "if" and "perhaps" do not play a part in football. I did not think that we would play without motivation, and the whole team simply did not click together. I feel very down and upset at the moment, as it would have been a nice thing to win the Hungarian cup final."
