José Gomes: The team showed once again that they are capable of battling

José Gomes: As I said following Sunday's friendly match, we gave the players less time to recover in the first training camp, while we allow them extra time to recover during this camp before games. We managed to control the game against a good side, which means that the players will be capable of reaching the final target in the league.

The team once again showed today that they are able to battle and play with organization, which is naturally a really good feeling. We made individual and collective mistakes, but we looked at them on the video and then spoke to the players about this, so that they could correct things. The best aspect of today's game was the attitude and the enthusiasm that we showed. Not only because of the result, as I said this after Sunday's 0-0 draw, but we managed to carry out those things that we planned, which is why I am pleased.
