The new head coach watched his team in action for the first time in Monday's win
Videoton FC were under the management of new head coach José Gomes for the first time in Monday's pre-season friendly win over local side Marbella. Gomes was pleased with what he saw, but knows that there is room for improvement:
"I am satisfied with the performance of the team. I asked them to be attack minded, and to concentrate when switching from attack to defending. Both of my requests were fully carried out to the maximum by all of the players. The players were aggresive, and we played in a good tempo game, and everyone gave their all. Naturaly there were also small mistakes, so there is still plenty of room for improvement, like for example possession of the ball, which I would like to help make better, but I was completely satisfied with today's performance" - said new manager José Gomes to the club's website.
