Joan Carrillo: There has been plenty of hard work since we returned

The Vidi manager spoke ahead of his sides friendly visit to ZTE.

"Of course, in an ideal world, it would have been better if we had not only had a tight three weeks to prepare the team before the very important cup match against Mezőkövesd. However, now this is the case and we have to make the most of it. The two stages of preparation include the friendly matches on Saturday and Sunday. I can’t say whether all the players in training will get a chance, but our plan is to try to give as many players as possible roughly 75-minutes match load over the weekend - meaning there will be plenty of substitutions in both games. The attitude and motivation of the players is absolutely fine, there has been a lot of hard work in training in the last few days. Everyone is working to get them in better shape and be ready by May 23. ” - commented our head coach Joan Carrillo before the game against ZTE, which will kick off at 17:00 on Saturday and against Budafok, starting at 11:00 on Sunday. The matches will be held behind closed doors, please do not travel to the ZTE Arena or the MOL Arena Sóstó.
