Istvan Kovacs reflects on the 1-1 draw at Paks

The young midfielder came off the bench to score the equalising goal

Istvan Kovacs came on as a second half substitute in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Paks. He made an impact on the game by scoring Videoton's equalising goal in the 76th minute. Istvan Kovacs: "We did not really find our rhythm in the first half, so you could say that we gave Paks a 45 minute advantage. We then went on to play in the second period as we should, which is to do everything to gain the win, although sadly we only managed to get the draw. It is always easier to come on for a side playing with tempo, and this is what happened today, as I went on during a period when we were putting them under pressure. There were many good solutions, and I also scored a goal, but I can still not say that I am satisfied, as my own performance only comes after that of the team itself, and the team did not win. We looked back and closed the Paks match on Sunday, and tried to learn from the consequences. We will now move forward and hope that a better period is ahead of us."
