I was satisfied with the mentality but not the result

Paulo Sousa spoke to the gathered media after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Honved

Paulo Sousa:
"I was satisfied with the mentality that the players showed, but naturally not with the end result. We managed to control the match, even when we were down to ten men. We created several chances, but football is like this. You will have times when the ball will always hit the post and bounce out, and their keeper was by far the busier. I am sure that the hard work that we are putting in will sooner or later bring its results. At the moment the most important thing is to work out our new playing system, and we are progressing in this step by step. We will always aim to win every match that we play in. It is only ever worth going out onto the pitch with an attitude like this."

"We did not begin the match as we would have wanted to, as we were "scared" of the big names playing against us. We managed to play more attacking football in the second half. My players remained back after they went down to ten men, but we still could have increased our lead several times. We did everything for the three points, and deserved today's win."
