Honved would like to break their bad run against Videoton

Miklos Simon will take charge of Honved after previous boss Marco Rossi left the club last week.

Honved did not start the season well, losing their first two league games. They managed to win their first game in the 4th weekend of the campaign against league newcomers Puskas Academy FC. Results continues to be strange for the Budapest side, as they lost to relegation threatened Mezokovesd at home 2-0, but at the same time they beat the three teams currently battling for third place, (Honvéd - Haladás 2-1, FTC-Honvéd 1-2, Vidi-Honvéd 1-2). Things were different over the spring with both FTC and Haladas beating Honved 2-0, so hopefully the omens are that Vidi will also win 2-0 at the Bozsik stadium.

Honved have won 5 matches on their home pitch, while also losing 5 and drawing the remaining 3. They have scored 17 goals and conceded the same amount at home. Statistics suggest that they are more dangerous in the second half, as they have scored 11 goals in the first 45 minutes and 22 in the second half of matches. The most goals have come during the 46-60' and 75-90' periods with 9 goals each. Daud Ayub is their top scorer with a total of 7 goals so far.
