The Vidi head coach shared his thoughts after watching his side win 2-0 on Saturday.
Henning Berg:
"It was a tough game against a quick and strong side. It was important to handle this and also work on our own game. We scored two very good goals and we could have scored more towards the end of the game. It was a tight game and our opponents also had their own chances. Our defending was fine in the match and the players got an important 90 minutes under their belts before the start of the league season."
Ivan Vukomanovics:
“I feel that Videoton FC are at a higher level, but my coaching team and I are working on developing as quickly as possible. Several new players have arrived and we are trying to play a dominating style of play. I do believe that in Slovakia, it is Slovan that plays the most dominating style of football. We wanted to play against strong opponents in our last friendly match before the season re-starts. We were not disappointed and knew that Vidi are one of the strongest teams in Hungary. They have players that can change a game with a turn or two. We tried everything on the pitch. We had chances but could not score from them today. We ended up losing but we know what we need to improve on before the start of the season."
